Mlox also comes programmed with info on most of the older mods, so it will automatically suggest a good load order to try anyway. EXE optimizer (fixes a bunch of issues that cause crash to desktops, plus can improve framerate if you have an intel processor), MGE XE if only so you can play on fullscreen using Windows 10 and finally mlox so you can set up a load order for your mods, because some need to be loaded before others in order for them to work together (the mod readmes usually state when this is needed).
Other worthwhile fixes include the 4GB patch to allow for more memory usage (the game is locked to using only 2GB normally), Timeslip's. It's the most recent edition of the Morrowind Patch and it fixes a bunch of broken quests and journal entries. Don't use a mod manager program like Nexus to install mods, do it manually to avoid issues.Īlso, The Code patch is a great start as it fixes issues like save game corruptions, but I recommend getting the Morrowind Patch v1.6.6 beta with it.
